New patient visits last about an hour to an hour and a half and returning patient visits tend to run 45 minutes to an hour.

This rate is reflects the discounted amount for those who pay at time of service in full. This rate reflects the nearly 40% “cash discount” we provide when we do not have to submit to insurance. This substantial savings reflects the tremendous expense incurred by submitting to insurance companies for reimbursement as a small business. By avoiding dealing with insurance companies, we are able to keep our costs much lower than our competitors who choose to work with insurance companies. It is estimated the influence of insurance reimbursement easily doubles the cost of healthcare.

Since we do our best to avoid dealing with insurance companies, we will happily provide you the forms needed for you to submit to insurance yourself.

For those with insurance that covers acupuncture and are considering going to other clinics that take insurance (such as Mayo) thinking that it will be cheaper or “free” since your insurance will cover it, please understand that it is important to “do the math” before hand. If your insurance policy will cover 80%, that is wonderful (you are very lucky and fortunate to have such good insurance), but if you still have to pay 20% of the $280 which they charge (plus gas and parking costs), you are still spending less money by choosing our clinic over those that take insurance.
