Happy Day After Christmas! It was a fantastic Holiday season, but now is a good time to invite you to sit and reflect about our accomplishments of this past year and take stock of “where we stand” so we can live with more purpose next year.
Because one of the most overlooked aspects of good health is our “legacy”; how do you want people to remember you after you are gone?
Researchers have seen that this actually weighs heavily (if not subtly) on our minds. If we are not living in a way where we are moving towards living our true purpose or accomplishing our heartfelt goals, then our mood and mental health suffer. We find ourselves feeling lost, aimless, depressed, powerless, a bit confused and seeking ways to ‘medicate’ those feeling away.
So over the next few days, I invite you to take some time and reflect on where you “want to go” this next year. What do you want to accomplish and who do you want to become. Determine what must be done to become a better version of yourself… and begin working towards that every day.
